Anne Crockatt - (GC)

My artistic style has been described as semi abstract & I take inspiration from the Scottish countryside & coast during the changing seasons, all weathers & in particular a sunrise or sunset. I enjoy using various media such as watercolour, acrylic, ink & bleach as well as monoprinting with acrylic on a gel plate. I find it intriguing to apply paint using numerous tools, as well as brushes and my fingers to enable me to create a variety of unpredictable textures & satisfying results. It brings me pleasure when I’m told that my artwork evokes a happy memory for someone of a particular place.
